AMDA has expanded membership to include minigrid developers, operators, suppliers, and solution providers. AMDA has always represented the interests of all private sector companies in the minigrid industry, and we want our membership base to reflect this.

AMDA Membership Categories
Industry Members (Voting) – Minigrid Developers & Operators
- Voting Industry Members include minigrid developers & operators.
- In addition to receiving AMDA member services, they vote on strategic issues at AMDA.
Industry Members (Non-voting) – Ecosystem Companies
- Non-voting Industry Members include companies that supply services and/or products to minigrid developers and operators.
- In addition to receiving AMDA member services, they identify larger industry issues and can participate in working groups.
Associate Members – Ecosystem Supporters
- Associate members are companies or individuals whose work contributes to improving the minigrid sector and helping minigrid companies accelerate scale and pathways to profitability.
- In addition to receiving AMDA member services, they provide input on activities that AMDA can undertake to amplify these members’ work.
