Being a member of AMDA has provided Ceesolar with critical support in multiple areas. The access to industry information (privy only to members) helps inform our decisions, making us more effective in planning, financing, and executing our minigrid projects in Nigeria.
We have benefited from AMDA's advocacy efforts that push for regulatory reforms across the African minigrid sector, creating a more conducive environment for our projects. Additionally, AMDA’s platforms has provided us with opportunities to connect with investors, policymakers and partners—relationships that have been instrumental in advancing our mission to bring sustainable energy to underserved communities.
For those considering AMDA membership, we would highly recommend it. Being part of AMDA opens doors to essential resources, a supportive network, and influential industry knowledge that are hard to find elsewhere. The membership is a valuable opportunity for any organization committed to creating sustainable energy solutions and expanding impact across the continent.

One material challenge of working in an emerging sector is that it is difficult for any individual company or investor to compare operational and market approaches to determine and advocate for best practices. Incomparable data and reporting generate little impact from such initiatives.
AMDA helps plug this key gap. A shared space for sector actors to interact and share best practices is also hugely beneficial. Group advocacy for standardization of RBF, regulatory approvals, and other instruments have been of material benefit to us.
It's hard to imagine why any credible actor in the space wouldn't want to be part of AMDA. We are trying to grow a huge sector reaching tens of millions of people in Africa -- we all need to be contributors to this journey to reach the scale needed to achieve this impact.
