Member Categories
Industry Members (Voting) – Minigrid Developers & Operators
Voting Industry Members include minigrid developers & operators.
In addition to receiving AMDA member services, they vote on strategic issues at AMDA.
Industry Members (Non-voting) – Ecosystem Companies
- Non-voting Industry Members include companies that supply services and/or products to minigrid developers and operators.
- In addition to receiving AMDA member services, they identify larger industry issues and can participate in working groups.
Associate Members – Ecosystem Supporters
- Associate members are companies or individuals whose work contributes to improving the minigrid sector and helping minigrid companies accelerate scale and pathways to profitability.
- In addition to receiving AMDA member services, they provide input on activities that AMDA can undertake to amplify these members’ work.

Information to Note: Membership is per calendar year (1 January – 31 December) and is automatically renewed for the following year unless termination notice is received by 30 September of any given year. Grant revenue will be excluded from the calculation of turnover.
